FÓLIO – Óbidos International Literary Festival
From October 9th to 19th, 2025: Books, ideas and conversations — in the magical streets of Óbidos.
For 11 days, the village transforms into a world capital of literature. National and international authors, debates, concerts, exhibitions, and performances take over churches, squares, and historic courtyards.
It is one of the largest literary festivals in Portugal, attracting visitors from all over the country and abroad. Ideal for book lovers, teachers, students, or anyone seeking cultural inspiration in a unique setting.
Caldas Nice Jazz
From October to November 2025 When music makes the city vibrate
Over several weeks, Caldas da Rainha hosts some of the best names in international and national jazz. The concerts are spread across the CCC and other emblematic venues in the city.
It's the most important jazz festival in the region, attracting music lovers from Lisbon to Leiria. A program that combines music, gastronomy, and urban exploration, making it a perfect opportunity to combine culture and relaxation on a getaway.
